The scheme is based on a core of socially responsible operations and aimed at promoting responsible management and operation of alcohol licensed premises. Piloted in Manchester in 2003, the scheme has since been adopted by 100 towns and cities across the UK.

BBN's aim is to reduce alcohol related crime and disorder in city centre’s by developing positive relationships between the licensed trade, police and local authorities.

How are my insurance premiums calculated?

Generally speaking insurance premiums are calculated on a trade wide basis with insurers setting their own premium guides across all applicants within a given sector. These guide premiums are then adjusted to reflect the individual characteristics for each specific proposer, for Night Club insurance the following areas would be considered.
