But what do they do with those details when they’ve got them? Where do they go?

Unfortunately, we bet you won’t get any contact from the half the websites you ‘speak to’.

But not NDML. When we ask for you contact details, it’s because we’d like to get in touch with you.

In fact, enough beating around the bush – here’s exactly what happens from the moment you fill out our get a quote form.

Here’s exactly what happens from the moment you fill out our get a quote form.

‘Fill in our get a quote form and we’ll do the rest’. We bet you’ve seen those words a lot. Every website you land on in your search for venue insurance seems to want to get your details as quick as possible.

But not NDML. When we ask for you contact details, it’s because we’d like to get in touch with you.

In fact, enough beating around the bush – here’s exactly what happens from the moment you fill out our get a quote form.

1. We get an email alerting us that you’ve submitted your details.

That email is sent to three people: our Finance Director, our Website Manager and our Business Development Manager, That’s so we can make sure the form has done its job and we can get in touch with you in the way you’ve selected. At this point, no one else can see your details.

2. We’ll contact you the way you wanted

In our get a quote form, we ask you when you want us to contact you, and if you’d prefer if we call or email you. If you selected a certain time, that’s when we’ll get in touch. If you said you’d prefer us to email, that’s what we’ll do.

If you selected ‘don’t mind’ for both of those options, then we’ll give you a call straight away.

At this stage, we’re only contacting you for a little bit more information about your venue like the renewal date of your current insurance and the type of cover you think you need.

3. We’ll set up a meeting

After the initial phone call or email exchange, we’ll set up a meeting between you and one of our trained Account Executives. If your renewal date is soon and getting cover is urgent, we’ll have that meeting over the phone. If it’s not quite so urgent, we’ll sort a time to come and see you and your venue.

At this stage, we’re only contacting you for a little bit more information about your venue like the renewal date of your current insurance and the type of cover you think you need.

4. We’ll sort your cover

Once we’ve gone through all your requirements and discussed your venue in detail, we can organise a tailored policy that suits your needs. Because we have such a good relationship with the top insurers in the UK, this process won’t take long.

5. We’ll send you your policy wording and documents

Once we’ve got you on cover, we’ll send over all your important policy documents for you to read and check over. We’ll also send you a link to our online portal called ‘MyNDML’, where you can access your documents at any time. At this stage, if you have questions about your policy wording, you can get in touch with us and we’d be more than happy to talk you through it.

6. We build an ongoing relationship that suits you

For some brokers, insurance is an annual relationship. They contact you when they want you to renew and then it’s radio silence for 12 months.

Not NDML. When you work with us, you have our full support whenever you need it. We have a different relationship with each and every one of our clients, depending on how they prefer to work.

If they want a ten minute phone call every week, that’s fine. Or if they’d prefer a quarterly meeting, we can do that too.
